This organic wine can be enjoyed now for its fruity aromas. It is also a wine for laying down. After 7 to 10 years, these aromas evolve towards greater complexity, with notes of undergrowth and roasted coffee. The palate becomes smoother, the tannins more coated.

Rasteau wines are powerful. Skilful vinification gives them finesse and elegance. The main grape variety of AOC Rasteau is Grenache (with at least 50% in the blends). Its clay-limestone terroir and ideal climate allow the Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre and Carignan varieties to express themselves beautifully. The estate produces powerful, elegant wines.

Domaine des Nymphes, located between Rasteau and Roaix in the Rhône Valley, produces Rasteau and Côtes du Rhône Villages appellation wines, as well as Vins Doux Naturels. Founded in 1979 and taken over in 2019 by Éric Petitjean, it is committed to organic conversion.
