The history of the Maison de Vignerons began in 1956 in Ville-sur-Arce when several winegrowers decided to join forces and pool their skills. Since then, four generations have continued this cooperation and today, 130 families are part of this wonderful adventure. While respecting the heritage of the founders, each generation brings new skills, ensuring the authenticity and quality of the House's champagnes. Each champagne reflects the character of its unique terroir in the Côte des Bar. The winegrowers practise sustainable agriculture, respecting the soil and ensuring natural balance in order to preserve the vineyard for future generations. The Champagne House has been awarded the Vignerons Engagés label for its comprehensive and demanding approach to sustainable development in the wine industry.
In the heart of the Côte des Bar, the Chassenay d'Arce vineyard covers more than 300 hectares in the Arce river valley in the southernmost part of Champagne. The terroir is protected by the surrounding forests and enjoys a beautiful south-southeast exposure.
