The history of the estate dates back to the 18th century and to Jean De Power, ambassador of Chateauneuf-du-Pape wines in Ireland. In 1838, Clos Saint Patrice was known as "one of the best vineyards in Chateauneuf-du-Pape", in 1920 it was called "the oldest vintage of Chateauneuf-du-Pape). In 2009, Guy Jullian and his son Jérôme became owners of Le Clos. They work today with Samuel Montgermont who runs the Maison Grandes Serres, seduced by the estate's wines for their finesse, balance, power and minerality.

Alcohol abuse is dangerous for health. To consume with moderation.
