Vaqueyras means "valley of stones" in Latin. In 1414, the first cadastre indicates the presence of vines in the village. At the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail, the Vaqueyras vineyard is 70% planted on a vast stony plain and benefits from a Mediterranean-influenced climate with a mistral that cleanses the vines and protects them from cryptogamic diseases.

Alcohol abuse is dangerous for health. To consume with moderation.
