In a preserved environment, in the shade of the Cathar castles and twenty kilometers from the Mediterranean, the artisan winegrowers cultivate a fragmented parcel vineyard, reclaimed from the scrubland.
In 1921, the independent winegrowers of the village of Cascastel decided to join forces in order to give themselves the means to sublimate their work. In 2006, the winegrowers of the cellars of Saint-Jean-de-Barrou, Fraisse and Villesèque des Corbières join them. About sixty winegrowers cultivated 800 ha of vines covering the AOP Fitou, Corbières, Languedoc, Muscat de Rivesaltes and the IGP Vallée du Paradis. All the winegrowers adhere to the internal REVE approach, respect for human beings, the vine and the environment.
