Marbella the seductress

Rock'n'roll Stay

A legendary address has just reopened this summer in Puerto Banus: the Hard Rock Hotel Marbella, just a stone's throw from the Nueva Andalucia beach.

The tone is set as soon as you enter. This is a hotel that moves, that vibrates to the riffs of the guitars. This is not the place to get bored!

Music is everywhere in the hotel.

Music is everywhere.

A musician entertains guests at breakfast.

Every morning, another musician sets breakfast to music.

So much the better, because the buffet is so opulent that you tend to spend an inordinate amount of time there.

Difficult choice! Different donuts,

Vegetables,
Cheese, fish, deli meat
Fruits and so much more...

Musicians at heart can even borrow a Fender guitar, to let off steam (with headphones) in the room without disturbing the neighbours. The hotel also offers a 'Sound of your Stay' programme to keep you on the beat during your holiday.

Even the pillows are in tune.

Even the spa is rocking with a special 'rhythm & motion' treatment. The massage table is connected and vibrates to the bass, while a suspended bell delivers additional rhythms. Surprising but effective!

At the body rock spa, it's not an orchid that's placed on the massage table but a ... guitar!

Perfect after a day on one of the 70 golf courses in the area. The hotel offers a full range of services for golfers: green bookings, club hire, lessons, etc.

There are also two swimming pools where you can relax before enjoying one of the cocktails on offer in the various bars.

The day's holiday can then end as it began: at the Sessions restaurant, with delicious Spanish cuisine and live music.
Unless you want to go the extra mile at the adjoining casino. This is the perfect hotel for having fun, celebrating a birthday or a wedding.

Among the different categories of rooms, studios and suites, the one designed by Jo Gis Art is a real work of art. Jordi Gil Fernandez draws his inspiration from pop and street art: bright colours, little texts... Perhaps a little too psychedelic for a quiet night in, but definitely the perfect place to get a good dose of optimism!

Wow effect guaranteed!

TASTE

For a taste of Andalusian gastronomy away from the clichés and touristy dishes, try Tragabuches, run by chef Dani Garcia, considered to be one of the best chefs in the world. Admittedly, you'll have to take the car or a taxi as the restaurant is on the outskirts of town, but it's well worth the trip.
