The difference between Côtes-du-Rhône and Côtes-du-Rhône-Villages? The latter have a generous, typical character and a good aptitude for keeping. The vines grow in a Mediterranean climate marked by summer and winter drought, and by a violent wind, the mistral, which sometimes blows more than two hundred days a year. The soils are calcareous in nature and present great diversity in their texture, water regime and fertility.

Maison Vidal-Fleury benefits from one of the widest ranges in the Rhône Valley, with around twenty appellations in red, white and rosé. To acquire the character of its appellation, Vidal-Fleury makes a point of giving each wine particular attention, adapted to its own evolution and its origins.
